the Olevel results 9feb. and controversial.

I SURVIVED! I S-U-R-V-I-V-E-D! Achieved an L1R5 of 14pts(13pts after cut-off) and L1R4 of 11pts(10 pts after cut-off)!

English was ideally a B4, Combined Humanities was a great A1! Then Amaths was a miracle, a B3! Huge disappointment was my sciences, both B3...Anyway, still a big thanks to all my lucky stars and Almighties.

1st choice under my list would be MJC Science stream... Because of Junkang lah! because if we are really in the same school, we can really keep in touch everyday! he is my brother!

Then starting from 2nd choice onwards, it would be poly courses. because marks like mine like not very ideal for jc also... we must have faith in what we study.we must study for interest. if you're sure of what you want, go ahead! and of course you don't have to aim for university. Companies are finding it costly to hire a graduate. ever heard of many grads unemployed? It's a really different era now. Decades back, people "wow" at those people who graduate from universty. But now, with so many graduates on the streets, people don't think so highly of graduates anymore. the others would say, "oh,it's just another graduate." And with so many private institutes offering part-time/full-time degree, would your certificate still remain as valuable as before? I doubt.

But still, Jc is undoubtly good too, as it guarantees a place in university, unlike polytechnic. it's perfectly ideal for people who have not decided which field they want to go into yet. But jc hides a risk, that is, if you fail Alevels, you will have to go to a poly and start all over again. So, if aiming for Jc, must really work hard. it's the fastest route, but indeed not an easy one. Must consider carefully!! Go for what you want, everyone, and excel!
