Marriage
Being in love and getting into marriage are part of one's life for most people. However, isn't marriage being a cruel joke sometimes?
Is it that while two people are in the process of courtship, they do their best to tolerate each other, and posessing certain personalities that will possibly maintain this relationship(even if they're just not being themselves), but once they step onto the red carpet of marriage, they treat each other for granted, and well, simply show their true colours? Does love fade overtime? Why does anger overrule love?
A very loving young couple live next block. And my mum never failed to comment on how loving they were when she see the husband waiting at the porch area for his wife who returns home around 10pm occasionally.
However, yesterday, they had a big quarrel, loud enough to be heard from my home although we're one block away. So the wife cried loudly, scolding the husband meanwhile. And what?? The husband slapped the wife and retorted "don't go liao la!"
Marriage is such a fearful thing, maybe.
And screw those men who hit women.
