-Reader's Discretion-
no offense to anyone. and not referring to anyone.
read it if it interests you. you're free to leave if u feel offended. it's a personal thought. it's a your personal choice. not an obligation to stay put and read on like you're doing a comprehension on a boring story.
once again, this post isn't pin-pointing at anyone.
and i would love to know if anyone has the same sentiments as me. hahaha.
Sometimes, the few things that happen to people and the many things that happen at home make me wonder what's the real meaning to a marriage.
A conclusion of a relationship?
A commitment everyone has to go through?
A task to do because you're no longer young?
Or is it that you love your partner so you'd like to spend the rest of your life with him/her?
Whatever the reasons are, whichever I don't know because I'm too young to comprehend such stuff... It takes a wise person to make this kind of decision that's so life-and-death.
Mum never fails to say that marriage is a gamble. It kinda let me think that, being in a relationship right from the start is already a gamble. Since you'd never know when's the right time to start...
Yet you'd know when's the right time to put a halt to it. And at times people can't wait to leave.
Why is that so? Aren't there things that hold them back? Aren't there things that can be salvaged?
People or maybe even you, may have heard or said a humpty times that love is selfish. Yet I've heard of "love is sharing". Who the hell came up with these definitions?
It's a wise choice to open your eyes wide and big. And accept with an open mind that changes are inevitable, and everyone will bound to have something that irritates you.
Nothing is perfect. So i'm placing my bets on that even the most generous relationship would have some betrayal once in a while. Nobody is honest. Hence, the term "white lie" is to cover up for the lies we tell. A lie is a lie; if white lie is termed(under my dictionary) as lies told unintentionally by the means of being kind; i would like to comment that you still had the intention to tell a lie in the first place, and that's not really being kind. Is it kind to lie to people?
Human relations are so difficult to comprehend. No wonder SP has the new course on HR together with Psychology. Because if you don't understand how someone thinks and the reasons for their actions in the first place, how are you going to deal with him/her?
Anyway, do those ba****ds who have extra-marital affairs or those two-timers know what the hell they are doing? I can only say, love the person who is with you now. And let them go if you don't love them anymore. Or let them go if you don't even love them in the first place.
Plus... If you don't like(relationship-wise) someone in the first place, please, let him/her know right at the start. Don't give false hopes. You are creating hell for the person if you let him/her wait for nothing. Don't be so selfish. Don't think putting everything aside solves the problem. Explain things to him/her. Don't give ambiguous answers. Ah, i hate ambiguous answers most. Like is like. Don't like is don't like. Don't give "i donno" or "let time shows" or "let me think about it" or what shit. Don't give silly reasons on that you don't want the friendship to turn sour because you reject or what. Telling you, friendships are going to turn more sour, salty, bitter, whatever if you're going to let the person wait, and in the end for nothing.
And i sincerely hate people who breaks with person A today and be together with person B tomorrow or patch up with person C the next day. It appears that being in a relationship is no different from a pizza buffet.
"Erm... pepperoni pizza eat until very sick already. Nvm, go take hawaiian pizza. Hmm... Hawaiian not very nice... Ahh... that seafood pizza i had earlier on is better. mm go take again..."
ok. felt better after the ranting.
